1) Simple Installation

1.1) Preparations

First of all, visit the downloads page and download the latest version of the 5zig mod. You may also install other mods with the 5zig mod, so download them as well.
Note: The mods that you download must be created for the same version of Minecraft that the 5zig Mod uses. You might also need to start the Minecraft Launcher and run the Minecraft version that the 5zig Mod uses once. Please ensure afterwards, that both Minecraft and the Minecraft Launcher are closed.

1.2) Installation

The 5zig Mod comes with a simple Installer. Just double click the downloaded file (or right click -> Open with... -> Java) and the installation window should be opened (Fig. 1).
Next, you can click on the "Install" button. A new window should be opened, asking you if you want to install the 5zig Mod together with other mods (Fig. 2). If you do, click on "Yes" and read the next step. Otherwise, you can continue to step #4.

1.3) Installation with Mods

Installing the 5zig Mod with other Mods is fairly simple. After you have accepted the notification window, another window should be opened (Fig. 3). There you can browse your Hard-Drive and select the Mods you want to have installed together. You may select multiple Mods by holding the CTRL-Key (CMD on Mac) and clicking on the file. After you are done, click on "Open" and the installation should start.
Note: You can only select .zip- and .jar-Files.

1.4) Starting the client

If everything went fine, a new window should appear, telling you that the 5zig mod has been successfully installed (Fig. 4). After clicking on "OK", the Installer should close itself. Next, open up the Minecraft Launcher. The 5zig Mod should be already selected in the Profiles-List. Simply click on "Play" and you're ready to go!

2) Forge Installation

2.1) Preparations

First of all, visit the downloads page and download the latest version of the 5zig mod. Afterwards, visit the downloads page of Forge and download the Installer-Version of Forge 1.8-11.14.3.1450 (alternatively, you can use this link). You may also use another version of forge, but I cannot guarantee that it will work 100% fine with the 5zig mod. If you wish to install other Forge Mods as well, download them, too.
Note: Non-Forge Mods won't work with this Installation-Method. If you want to use them, either use the simple Installation Method. Also, please make sure that the Minecraft Version of the 5zig Mod matches the one of Forge.
After downloading all files, you need to install Forge. You can do this by double clicking the downloaded Forge file (or right clicking -> Open with... -> Java). Click on "OK" (Fig. 6). When the Installation has been completed, a window should appear, telling you that Forge has been successfully installed (Fig. 7).

2.2) Installation

To install the 5zig mod as a Forge Mod, you need to copy the downloaded file into the mods-Folder of Forge. You can find it in your Minecraft Installation directory. This is, by default, in your AppData Folder. If you are on Windows, press CTRL+R, type %appdata% into the window and click "OK". If you are on Mac, press CMD+SHIFT+G, type ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft and press ENTER. The 5zig Mod should now be installed successfully. Start your Minecraft Launcher, select the Forge Profile and you're ready to go!
